Evaluation Of B-Mode Ultrasound Findings Of Posterior Segment In Travmatic Ocular Cases

110 ocular traumatic cases that had posterior segment pathology in B-mode ultrasound between August-1992/September-1994 were evaluated retrospectively. Ultrasonographycally the most common pathological finding were vitreous membrane formation (54.5 %), retinal detachment (27.2 %), intraocular foreign body (12.7 %), choroidal detachment (9.1%). Travmatic cases in which fundus examination can not be done, B-mode ultrasound provides a good anatomical visualisation and useful for determine in the pathologies.
