Relationship Between Fundus Findings And Mortalities And Morbidities Of Mother And Baby In Toxemia Of Pregnancy

3GÜTF Göz Hast. AD. We evaluated fundus findings of 49 toxemia of pregnancy cases and detected focal or generalized arteriolar spasm in 40 of these cases. In severe arteriolar spasm group 14 of 18 cases we observed intrautherin fetal death and 3 of them died after birth. We found decreased umblical artery blood flow in all of 18 cases by Color doppler ultrasonography. The cases with severe retinal arteriolar spasm have reduced umblical artery blood flow and also have high fetal mortality rate.
