The percentage who almost always recommend laser treatment for macular edema was 26.6% when the patient's vision was excellent, 50% when vision was compromised. As a result, most of the ophtholmologist wanted to control diabetic patients without PDR and having diabetes for long time duration after 6 months of the first visit. They wanted to control the patients with type-I diabetes and also the younger patients with the same clinical characters as type-I diabetes after 6 months. Photocoagulations therapy for PDR is suggested at a higher rate. It has been observed that the ophthalmologist have hesitancies for photocoagulation therapy of the patients with macular edema and a excellent vision. There's no significant difference between the ophthalmologist whether or not participated to the courses of retinal disease.
