Retinal artery macroaneurysm (RAM) is a rare, acquired dilatations of the retinal arterial vasculature, usually within the first three branches of the arteriolar tree. RAMs can be asymptomatic or cause sudden, painless vision loss as a result of retinal exudates, serous retinal detachment, intraretinal, preretinal and vitreous hemorrhage. In this presentation, we aimed to evaluate fundus changes due to a retinal macroaneurysm located away from the fovea in a hypertensive patient presenting with visual loss and to discuss the diagnostic methods and treatment modalities of RAM. Keywords : Retinal artery macroaneurysm, retinal exudation, serous retinal detachment
