Prof. Dr., GATA Haydarpaşa Eğitim Hastanesi Dislocation of the intraocular lens into the posterior segment seen during and after cataract operations is a frequent complication. Cystoid macular edema, vitreous hemorrhage, retinal detachment, infl ammation and glaucoma may occur in case of intraocular lens dislocation.

Provision of refractive rehabilitation and prevention of possible complications is possible by appropriate surgery at the appropriate time. With the choice of surgery, timing and appropriate surgical procedure, this important complications can be treated with functional success. Keywords : Intraocular lens dislocations
