Optical Cohorence Tomography Analysis of Hollenhorst Plaque

Branch retinal artery occlusion (BRAO) is characterized by sudden, painless, loss of visual field and commonly occurs due to an embolus. A Hollenhorst Plaque (HP) is a bright yellow refractile arteriolar accumulation, caused by a cholesterol embolism. In this study, the optical cohorence tomography findings of a 60-year-old patient with BRAO and Hollenhorst Plaque are presented.
